This year will really be a bike year, almost because of the Tour de France witch stays 4 days in our region and pass nearby our campsite at only 8 kilometers on july 16th.
That day the Tour de France will start in Samatan, then they pass across our department passing through Auch, follow the "Route des Bastides" in direction of Pau.
July 17th is a rest day, July 18th and 19th are two difficult mountain stages and the 20th the start will be in Toulouse and the Tour leaves our Region. In short, the most fanatic of us have four beautiful possibilities to visit the Tour de France, view the cyclists from nearby and take profit of the biggest cycling event of the world.
It’s not luck that each year the Tour de France stays a few days in our region (sometimes called "the French Toscana"), it is excellent to cycle here and for the real cracks the cols of the Pyrenees are not very far, about a hundred kilometers.

For a mountainbiker too it’s a great Eldorado, our campsite organizes more times a week mountain bike trips for young people and adults, take profit of the 350 km tracks trough the hills, fields and forests around the campsite. Naturally the walkers also can take profit; all our tracks are in our GPS handhelds.

Due to the success of that beautiful sport, our campsite has invested again in 15 new mountain bikes of the well known brand Specialized. These are magnificent machines, with suspension forks, hydraulic disc brakes and 27 speeds. We challenge you to have a nice trip with Sander and/or Arnold.
